I bet no championship athletic team ever said “it’s just 9th grade, it doesn’t really matter” Maybe this is the reason that some athletic programs don’t win anything at the varsity level … because some members of the coaching staff think that only the varsity level matters.

After much reflection, I'm saying bye to the CALM CORNER, & welcoming the PIT STOP. IMO, students don't always need to "calm down." In that moment, they might need to jump, hug, run, draw, drink, etc. Try, reflect, adjust, grow.😊 Thanks for the inspiration @MegaeraR! #physed
