If HB 4001 is enacted, @CCharitiesWVa would have to ask its supporters to contribute an additional 270,618 pounds of food (roughly $449,225) so #WV neighbors don't go hungry. @DrTomTakubo @DrMikeMaroney @SenatorUnger @romanprezioso @RyanWeld #wvlegis #wvpol #SNAPWorksWV

Soup kitchens in 9 county pilot area saw a 30% increase in meals served. Huntington City Mission forced to reduce its meal service from 3 to 2 meals a day because it couldn’t keep up with demand. Removing federal money that helps feed our neighbors will hurt #WV. #wvlegis #wvpol

Some within West Virginia’s Department of Health and Human Resources appear eager for the state to enact work requirements as a condition for certain people to receive Medicaid, as Kentucky

#WV could be heading in the wrong direction when it comes to food assistance with HB 4001. @WVpolicywonk breaks down the impact here: https://t.co/sEzNTlnEpI When WV restricts #SNAP churches, food pantries, & others must step up so neighbors don't go hungry. #wvlegis #wvpol
