At a recent #pathmaintenance day at #BeinnaGhlo, our team of #volunteers cleared drainage features and culverts on the two footpaths that serve as the primary return route from the mountain range. They did an amazing job, covering 16km on foot with the spades and mattocks. πŸ‘

Great teamwork from our path maintenance volunteers on the footpath from Loch Callater to Lochnagar. They cleared drainage features, managed sections of overgrown vegetation, and deepened ditches to keep excess water off the path. Well done all! #pathmaintenance #volunteers

We had our first 'Bike & Hike' Volunteer day this week. #slugain is a popular way to approach the Ben Avon summit... but a very long walk in. Using mountain bikes is the perfect way to get closer to the footpath. David and Mark, 2 keen cyclists jumped at the opportunity!

Another great day with our volunteers at #CarnLiath, #Beinna'Ghlo. Loads of loose material to shift on a steep hillside πŸ’ͺ🏼 Well done, guys! The stone pitching is in top condition, and looking fab, especially after the final touch with a hand brush😎 πŸ§ΉπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ #pathmaintenance

A sunny day at #CreagChoinnich in #Braemar. Our #volunteers cleared all the drainage features in no time. They also tackled the heather on sections where it had grown over the existing path. Thanks to the volunteer team for such a great effort. Happy Days!
