Scotland's new #LandReform Bill is set to require larger estates to publish plans showing how they’ll support access. We want that to apply to estates of >500 hectares, rather than >3,000 as planned. Our briefing to MSPs ahead of today’s Holyrood debate:

"There was something about being a solitary, tiny speck high up on the banks or down at the water’s edge of the vast lochs you hug along the way that made the landscape feel that bit more dramatic.". The Scotsman's Katharine Hay, on the Great Glen Way:

That’s our 3 days at #Scotlab25 over. It was good to talk to MSPs, MPs & councillors about how important outdoor access rights are for the nation’s health and rural economy & why it should be a focus for the next Parliament. We’re taking the same message to all political parties.

Good to hear from @ReviveCoalition and @CommunityLandSc at fringe meeting at #ScotLab25. We all share a view that the trigger threshold for land management plans in the Land Reform Bill should be reduced to 500ha. This would bring more land into scope of the plans.
