This is wrong. People don't realize that healthcare workers have rights and need protection from physical violence. @AbabuNamwamba funza watu wako vizuri. @Nakhumicha_S you must condemn this. @mbiti_mwondi toa maoni.

I think CS @KindikiKithure needs to pay a visit to Nyayo House again @ImmigrationDept. There is no way a passport can stay in printing for over 3 months.

OET is more oriented towards the professional angle and as such, is easy to pass for most nurses.

The IELTS test is what has barred quite a good number of nurses from relocating. Getting the required band score is a tall order for some people and easy for others. For those who have sat for IELTS more than once and failed to meet the required band score you can try OET.

Just seen an ad by Embu county government @CecilyMbarire hiring Registered nurses. The quoted pay ( gross of 35k) is the key reason nurses are quiting Kenya. Talk of peanuts, delayed salaries, lack of basic drugs, pathetic work environment. It is just unbearable.

We the children of peasant farmers and primary school teachers are going to find it hard to go to university. This is unaffordable for majority of us. At UoN we struggled raising 26k, we missed meals for lack of money. We were promised freedom but, it is a long walk to freedom.

Sometimes, I feel like BScNs are the most disadvantaged group in the medical field. They have to wait like a year and half after graduation for them to get posted for internship. Meanwhile, they counterparts from Kmtc receive their licenses and start working immediately...

Why haven't you as a registered nurse taken IELTS? Why don't you have that travel passport? These governors have no good intentions to us RNs. Our Union is also toothless. The best option for us unemployed and underemployed nurses is to migrate elsewhere where we are valued.
