"We DO NOT CARE" about allegations of taking a $50,000 bribe because she thinks Homan is a "national treasure" is a refreshingly honest take of where Megyn Kelly has gone. Politics is the new religion and it's rotting the brains of everyone.
We DO NOT CARE. Don’t bother @RealTomHoman he’s a national treasure.

Yesterday PPI was much cooler than expected, but today CPI comes in slightly above expectations with +.4% month over month (exp .3%) CPI is 2.9% Year over Year and at the same time weekly jobless claims just hit a *four year* high. Inflation plus rising unemployment... not good.

The 24 hour rule is the most important rule when dealing with a tragedy or crisis style event and that holds true today. Another great idea is stepping away from Twitter for a few hours to clear your head and avoid all of the people who refuse to adhere to the 24 hour rule.

Last month PPI came in way above expectations and this month it's well below expectations, coming in at -.1% month/month (exp 0.3%) and 2.6% year/year (exp 3.3%) PPI does not include imports (direct impact from tariffs), but still welcome news on the inflation front.
Wow the PPI for July - price of goods from manufacturers - comes in WAY above expectations. Monthly +0.9% (exp 0.2%) Yearly +3.3% (exp 2.5%) When we said tariffs would take a while to start hitting prices and inflation numbers overall, this is what we meant.

When economic data is good, Trump is a god among men when it comes to running the country. When the economic data is bad, it is fake data that the deep state is releasing to take Trump down from the inside.

The US added just 22,000 jobs in August against expectations of 75,000. July was revised up 6k to 79,000, but June was revised down 27k to -13,000. June was originally 147k jobs added, then revised down to 14k last month, and now negative at -13k. Yiiiiiikes.

The PPI (producer price index) does not include imports, but that's what we've been screaming for months. If you raise the price of imported goods via tariffs, the domestic suppliers will raise prices along with them and this has been documented over and over again.

Yes it turns out if you raise taxes on American businesses that it brings in revenue to the US government. There's not a single expert that disagrees with that. 😅
🚨INSANE: U.S. tariff revenue hit a record $29.6 billion in July. They have brought in over $100B so far this year. The “experts” were wrong, Trump was right. Tariffs work.

The US has lost 37,000 manufacturing jobs in the last three months since Trump's liberation day tariff spree designed to... bring those jobs to the US.
The US added just 73k jobs in July - half of the expected 147k. But much worse is that May and June were revised down by *258,000* jobs with just 33k jobs added in the two months combined. That's quite the revision!

Just this hour Trump said (dishonestly, again) that countries are paying the tariffs. Trump is lying, but that doesn't mean you have to repeat his lies... it makes you look really foolish.
@NumbersMuncher No, you were told the consumer wouldnt be the ones paying the full tariff cost and that much of it would be absorbed by the chain. In this case GM is feeling it from their overseas production.

Trump and his team know his voters won't spend the two minutes to realize they're being lied to over and over again. Vietnam will not pay one cent to the US for imported goods - those tariffs are 100% paid for by US businesses which are passed on to consumers via higher prices.
Our trade deal with Vietnam is a massive win for America's businesses, manufacturers, and farmers! For the FIRST TIME EVER, Vietnam will open its market to the United States. They will pay 20% to sell their products here, and 40% on transshipping - meaning if another country
