Seems mad seeing good imports all pitching up to be the 14th seed at one joint when they could be the pride and joy of another. Gotta be a terrible decision but one you can justify on a spreadsheet I guess.

Assuming (and it’s a bit of a leap on the evidence but they would have advantages of scale) that the mega stables are better trainers, how much better would they have to be so that it’s better to be one of 400 there rather than one of 80 odd with a normal top stable?.

Counter take: It might be easier to beat AI-driven markets for creative punters with specific knowledge. Plenty set to get the right answer to the wrong problem.
Phase one of AI: Emulation of existing expert form analysts. Timeframe 1-2 years. Phase two of AI: True machine learning of everything, including form, times, video, betting etc. Timeframe 2-5 years. Punters we have a window of 2-5 years before AI takes over and it's.
