You’re never on my timeline for saying anything bright or insightful. It’s always nonsense.
The thing about women not wanting a son is so real and valid because sadly no amount of had home teaching and sacrifice is a match for socialization and patriarchy. Like really might just hate women (and you) when its all said and done.

Some Africans don’t fuck with BAs just like some BAs don’t fuck with Africans. Some ≠ all. Address it case by case and move accordingly. It’s really simple. Yall gotta grow up with these blanket generalizations bc as soon as someone call you a criminal yall be crying.

Yall getting upset over this is stupid. ‘Black New Orleans has preserved its connection to Africa and the diaspora’. How is this statement anti Black American? . Yall have lost the plot lol.
Dear New Orleans,. In collaboration with ESSENCE and Edward Buckles, the “Dear New Orleans” film honors the spirit of Black New Orleans, giving the city its flowers while celebrating those who keep its traditions alive. This is more than a tribute; Dear New Orleans celebrates a

Nah they calling yall genocide supporters bc yall are bragging about what’s going on in Palestine like they deserve it bc some of them don’t support Biden. Or the ones who never critiqued US Israel policy in the first place.
Calling Black people genocide supporters for voting against a return to Jim Crow America is a choice, also.

I want yall to stop pretending that any slight mention or critique of America’s violent history automatically renders someone unpatriotic. That’s not how it works. So yes, it’s still a patriotic gimmick.
No way yall heard "American Requiem" and "Amen" and think Cowboy Carter is some pro patriotic gimmick , like do yall listen to words????.

@HonorableSienna @ellation226 Its not. This clearly says that it was in the 13 Colonies, not the USA. Furthermore we’re not talking about slavery, we’re talking about race.

Please stop listening to comedians when talking about history. This is not true lol.
The word “black” was created to identify ourselves in this country. Just like many other things we’ve created, it has been hijacked by other cultures and ethnicities. But “BLACK” is specific to black Americans who’s ancestors are former slaves.

@cointel__bro it’s not. Native had 1000s of African slaves. It’s well documented. How did your ancestors & the Natives get to Oklahoma? Through forced migration. The Natives bought their Black slaves with them. So they can enslave you, that’s okay, but people who call you Akata ain’t? 😂😂.

Not true. This was 94.
@BookerGWash Anyone who has something to say about that Crime Bill now either wasn't alive during those times or are in denial. Crack tore up the Black Community. It was the beginning of the broken Black family. The death and destruction that ensued is still impacting us in this century.

Can’t wait for yall to stop calling it ‘The Great Migration’ and call it what it was: genocide, displacement, ethnic cleansing. They were running for their lives from one type of white terror to another, rebranding that as ‘freedom’ lowkey pissing me off.
Check out this new docu series. THE GREAT MIGRATION: A PEOPLE ON THE MOVE. A lot of great people in it. was honored to join the conversation. Premieres on @PBS, Tues, Jan 28 @ 9/8 c

@DrRober60728667 Yes but this a bad comparison. She was in movies, and doing good in those don’t necessarily translate to TV. And Ellen didn’t start off there, she played that character for damn near 20 years. She just kept increasing her contract. Taraji don’t got that under her belt.

@barbumentative This doesn’t make sense bc a minority of Africans participated in the slave trade and many more were victims of it, their families and friends were kidnapped. Africa did not acquire wealth, the deal was lopsided to mostly favor Europe. There are individuals/families in Africa.

@B1TuckerCarlson Both my grandmas said their ancestors were African lmao so…not sure your point. Where’s your evidence showing that most Black ancestors are indigenous to this land?.

@ellation226 It doesn’t. Plenty of Black kids with white moms will tell you they’re aren’t white. Slave status following the mother was applicable in certain areas but it wasn’t a universal rule in America.

@Coutorce They built it as SLAVES! They were not compensated for it and you’re not getting compensated for it now and don’t have access to the wealth it created. It is a narrative when you’re purposely leaving the TRUTH out. And it’s not a straw man argument bc I wasn’t refuting it lol.

‘I don’t want the government or system to change. I want to enjoy the spoils of this system as much as I can by getting as much money as I can for me and mine.’ . Which is silly bc money ain’t saving you either but hey. What good is money on a dead planet? lol.
You’re not changing the government or, the system. The smartest thing you can do is get as much money as possible and put yourself in a position where you can insulate yourself and your family from their stupidity and control as much as possible.

@Andy68580664 Nope. Not true. Most Black people don’t have much Native DNA. You want to be proud of the raping of your ancestors by Native and Europeans, you have a right to be that dumb.

@davyfloater Those were the Seminole wars. Those were only the Natives in and around Florida, that can’t be applied to all the other Natives. They were one of the exceptions to the rule, not the standard. So no, I’m not incorrect actually.

@Pmoss93 No bc African were also victims. It wasn’t the majority of Africans doing the slave trading but the majority of Africans were negatively impacted by having their family kidnapped and sold.
