🥇🥇Both maiden races at Alnwick today were won by Gina Andrews with two very promising horses! Azlad won the 2m4f Maiden, a 4yo by Linda’s Lad, he is a half-brother to Uncle Bert. The Dog Thief won the 3m Maiden, a 5yo by Califet. Next stop for both could be the sales!

A great run from Carlenrig on rules debut for @DSkeltonRacing at Chepstow last week, finishing 2nd behind a nice horse with the front 2 well clear. Carlenrig won the 3 mile maiden at the Border fixture at Hexham last year for Lesley Coltherd.

Great to see Cadell back to winning ways for the @lucindavrussell team, and ridden by former P2P jockey Jack Power! Cadell started off his career with two wins at Overton in 2023.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Duncan Davidson. The pink & black colours have been a familiar sight in the North. Bigirononhiship’s win in the 2019 Borders National at Kelso was a standout, trained by his daughter Rose. Our thoughts are with his family & friends.
