Latest #norfolk #folklore doodle, Thomas Sydney of Ranworth, feared landowner & drunk, he cheated on a wager by murdering his opponent in a horse race. The devil usually claimed the loser, this time he also took the victor due to his corrupt win. @FolkloreThurs @Weird_Norfolk

When I looked at old material I saw that I quoted this Anglia TV programme in an early pitch for my 1992 BBC drama GHOSTWATCH. The "unexpected response from viewers" was clearly part of my inspiration.
