The problem with modern sports culture. What has Shedeur Sanders done on the NFL level NOT to listen to a guy that had the first NFL offense EVER with 4000 passing yards and 3000 yrds rushing. LOL

The concern: If u aren’t stacked with talent then you need to be on the forefront of whats pushing the league forward in ideas in order to squeeze out every advantage. Staying stodgy with 20 yr old concepts, thinking you have it all figured out while also being talent poor..😬

Its not inspired but I don’t hate it. The real concern is if he going to get a young OC with ideas about pre snap movement etc. Staying rigid to a no movement style isnt as effective in modern NFL and requires DIFFERENCE makers at WR and QB that Steelers dont currently have.

The Patriots forfeited draft picks in 2008, 2015 and 2020 for league violations. The ONLY way to read Belichick not getting in today, is the voters decided not to put him in on first ballot as a result of those “situations”. You can agree or disagree….but its seems obvious.

I wish I could say I was impressed by the presser, I just wasn’t. Any Yinzer off the street would be emotional about taking over the Stillers..doesn’t make any Yinzer the right choice. Time will tell and god knows I’m rooting for him, but I’m dubious.

Sam Darnold, JSN & Cooper Kupp have been excellent all year for the Seahawks. The D has been outstanding. But I have to shout out OC Klint Kubiak. He’s brought a system that utilizes their talents as well as those of his running backs. He’s brought toughness and the play action

Viking in-laws were scared Steelers were taking Flores. Cowboy friends laughed and said “Good luck with McCarthy.” Anecdotal to be sure…..but…..ooof.

His insistence to keep calling plays is a concern however. But maybe if a young assistant can help update parts of his philosophies….. But really, its all on finding the QB or this is just whistling past the graveyard.

I’m not excited about the McCarthy hire, but again…my belief has always been STAFFS win championships. So I will be VERY interested in staff hires. A young fresh ideas OC, an upgrade of ANY kind from a defensive scheme standpoint AND MAYBE Mike can oversee it all.
