notice how none of the deportation targets are red states where farmers are dependent on masses of cheap exploited migrant labor bc if we deported every undocumented worker american grocery stores would be empty in weeks. (see video below).

Same problem with western comics and genre fic. Neuromancer doesn't need a TV show to matter. Watchmen won't be redeemed by a newer, better adaptation, because it was only ever meant to be what it is.
