I own a yacht management company, this boat costs nowhere near 1m to operate lol. 20-30k to keep it year-round at the dock, 12k a year to keep it detailed, 10-15k on regular maintenance. Even if you have a captain he's making no more than 150-200k a year on this type of boat

Barkov didn't go for max value on medium term for his first contract. Matthews is being paid to score goals and play like a top 5 player. He's "okay" in the playoffs.
