❌❌Callout at 1330 ❌❌ from Belfast Coastguard. Crews were deployed on training and attended the scene where 1 person and a dog were rescued. @AnnanCoastguard were also in attendance. Our friends in Silloth RNLI were stood down en route.

Callout: At 23:56 on Saturday 31st August @PoliceScotland Police asked for the assistance of Moffat MRT and @NithRescue to aid in the Search and Rescue of a missing person in the Ruthwell area. The person was found and handed over to a @Scotambservice crew for further assessment.

#Dumfries Community Officers were at the @NithRescue open day at Glencaple today. We spoke to lots of people & caught up with our colleagues from @MoffatMRT @Scotambservice @scotfire_DG. We also watched Nith Inshore Rescue launch their boat & carry out a simulated rescue.
