Many of you asked about the Vittorio t-shirt I made for #Identiverse, so I created a fundraiser in @vibronet's honor. With #Authenticate2023 starting, thought it would be a nice way to show our love for him while also doing something in his memory.

Breaking my twitter exile to share my grief at the passing of @vibronet. Because this site was so beloved to us both, brought us into the #identirati community together, and we mourned its loss together. Farewell Vittorio, my dear, dear friend.

Shout out to @TrustVanta for their partnership in helping us achieve this milestone. Their platform really helped simplify the process for us by providing the tools + automation needed to demonstrate what we already had in place - a world class org following the highest standards.

This is a testament to the excellent team we have assembled at @Uniken_Inc. We were told it would be a lot of (scary) work and difficult to achieve this, but with the procedures and controls we already had in place and had been following for years, turned out to be a breeze.

Challenges and ethical conundrums abound in dealing with #privacy. Preventing tragedies requires multiple changes in how we build products, starting with team #diversity (bring those who live the threats in), #abusability testing, and applied #ethics.
