This morning, Mum suddenly grabbed my hand as we watched the news on #GiselePelicot & said: "We teach you girls to be so vigilant, to always stay alert, every minute of the day. But now what? How are we supposed to protect you while you're sleeping too?" And it has broken me.

On Monday I took to the stage at Londonโs Cambridge theatre for my first @TEDx @TedxSoho talk. It was exhilarating/terrifying in equal parts. I spoke about reporting death, experiencing grief, and the positive lessons from both. Iโm glad I did it, thanks @SamOrams for asking.
