DL as in Description Logic reasoning

This whole business of basically teaching ML classifiers DL is.. crazy cool. I don’t understand it yet fully but i am now inspired to give it a proper study.

The issue of expressivity is really contentious in my community. I think some good points are made by @leechuck that make me want to re-evaluate our radical stance on EL+- or die.

Just watched @leechuck’s excellent talk in the coevolution of ontologies and knowledge-based analytics in bioinformatics https://t.co/H9BGgiSeQr. I think this is a must-watch for people in ontology engineering (as is all his work). Some minor comments.

I hope this becomes an example for others as well. Writing papers is not enough, if you want stuff to change, really improve our open resources, you need to reach out, engage, convince. Community work! Too few people take the time for that..
