I just don't see it. I don't think there's any feasible/reasonable way to trade for Giannis without giving up one of Tatum or Brown. Also, those three players would account for $173.9M in cap space next season. I don't think there's any shot of that being a reality.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announces Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, Ken Anderson, Roger Craig and L.C. Greenwood as five finalists for 2026 induction. At least one of these men will be enshrined next year with a maximum of 3 making it in.

To add to this- people dramatically overestimate variation in defensive quality faced for entire season. Difference between hardest schedule (Ward) versus easiest (Hurts) works out to about ~0.03 EPA/play. Difference between Maye and Stafford opposing schedule 0.0008 EPA/play
I find the “easiest schedule” argument generally compelling for power ranking the Patriots/figuring out how far they can go in the playoffs I find it completely useless in the Drake Maye MVP conversation. Total non-factor.
