The WV lawmaker who pushed this bill told me about a month ago he hoped that #MAHA would push his bill (which died on the vine last session) over the finish line. I admit I did not expect it to happen that quickly.

Not to admit that I buried my own lede, but flagging detail from my new story: DOGE is claiming it's saving money on the National Immunization Survey. CDC, DOGE and NORC (the group that runs the survey) would not comment on what that means for its future.
