In 1888, Catherine Impey founded Britain's first anti-racism periodical. She worked with Frederick Douglass, Ida B Wells and many others to try to change this country. That campaign grew in influence until it ended in tragedy, leaving a major, 'what if?' https://t.co/Z353I5e0c0

We’ve barely explored the darkest realm of the ocean. With rare-metal mining on the rise, we’re already destroying it.

A month to go before The Brain Book hits the shops. Hoping that this introduction to the brain that @dkbooks invited me to write will inspire and educate lots of 5-9 year olds. https://t.co/ykseKxsbjH

Ever wondered how elite sportspeople strike a ball that's travelling at 100+ mph? And how you might train that skill? Turns out, it's not just about keeping your eye on the ball. My latest for @NatureOutlook

Nature - To strike a ball moving at lightning speeds in baseball, tennis and cricket, athletes and coaches are increasingly embracing training techniques involving virtual reality.

My book made it to the sea! Aldeburgh is not exactly the abyss but it was so good to see the coast and one of my favourite seashells after months of lockdown. #TheBrilliantAbyss

As #marginalised people, many of us are living with an accumulation of a lifetime of trauma. I was racialised the moment I came to UK and EVERY DAY since. I've estimated, that over 23 years, I have been overtly #racialised ~8000 times - by strangers, colleagues & even friends.
