Today is the 150th anniversary of the greatest song of all time. On 7th November 1876, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee wrote and composed 'VANDE MATARAM'. It was published in novel Anandamath (1882). A part of the song was later adopted as the national song of India on 24th Jan 1950.

Thevar met Sarat, Subhas Bose's elder brother, in late 1949. Then he left India under an assumed identity and met Subhas in January 1950.

The Provisional Government of Free India was officially proclaimed on 21st Oct 1943. Netaji became the head of the state. Any self-respecting nation will honour this but in our nation we are yet to come out of mental colonisation. Recognise your true heroes. Jai Hind!

Nagoshi Jironosuke in his book, "The Greater East Asia War as seen from the world" has talked very favourably about Netaji. He regards him greater than Gandhi & credits him for India's freedom among many other things. Even the cover page is very impressive https://t.co/ufU9gXT8h0

Do watch and share. This episode is entirely on the life and politics of #Netaji, not the disappearance mystery. The fact is that unless we properly grasp his political life, we won’t fully understand the disappearance mystery. @itihasdhir @anujdhar https://t.co/92HSNS0lZ7
