Even though the previous two advisors had confirmed if I cancelled I wouldn't be eligible for the new basic plan because it would be a new subscription and it's only available to current premium users. @SpotifyCares FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APP.

Spend nearly three hours talking to Spotify support to move to the new basic plan + all 3 advisors tell me different things. The final one tries to tell me I'm already on the basic plan and then asks me to 'trust them' on cancelling my current subscription to swap over (1/2)
