Okay. Just out of curiosity, do any of the people who are still hung up on this go outside? Like, have you ever tried to exist outside of your phone screen in your oversized SUV?

@AlamedaTma @ACTransitMedia Excellent management from Bay Ferry. The Peralta had mechanical issues, but they rescued it by brining in the Delphinus to work the trip. Back on my ferry from this morning!

@AlamedaTma @ACTransitMedia With a quick transfer from the Seaplane to Richmond, I am on my way! Pro tip, add two creamers to your hot chocolate to make it yummm. Just worried about the 1 minute connection to the ACT 74 on the other side, it’s looking a little bit iffy. MV Carina - 31mph Propeller

@AlamedaTma With some help from @ACTransitMedia, the 19 brought me over to the Alameda Seaplane ferry terminal, the fastest ferry across the bay!

Now just a short walk away is the @alamedatma Oakland water shuttle. It’s this little cute thing called Woodstock, and it’s giving us docks 4 & 5. See you on the other side!

Terminal 2/11: Alameda Main St kinda in the middle of nowhere, hopefully will see development soon. check out this cool Timelapse from Delphinus though! It’s friends Argo and Carina stop in to say hi!

First up today is the South SF, running surprisingly busy peak direction trips, with a pilot schedule change coming soon. This boat is the MV Delphinus, entering service in 2024, and is a jet boat with a top speed of 41mph. I’ll be taking this all the way to Oakland!

And we are off! Perfectly on time, the stopwatch has started and we are on the way. Along for the ride is my #SuperBowlLX clipper card, and a laundry list of work to do. With WiFi and tables, the ferry really is the best way to cross the bay!
