Automated backtest: This data shows the frequency of which day the week the high-of-the-week and the-low-of-the week are formed.
FX pairs HOTW/LOTW are usually formed on Monday/Tuesday whilst NAS/SPX is towards the end of the week. BTC and other cryptos are scattered throughout.

I created a matrix that shows EURUSD high and low of the week for the last 10 years.
Each cell shows how many times the H/L of the week was created at that particular day and time.

I ran an automated backtest of how often this pattern occurs - 15m raid on previous 1hr candle.

image 2 - shows the top (minimum 5) hours for that pair. The * indicates the top 2 and if multiple stars, meaning they are all close.

I didnt realise tradingview counts Sunday as day 1 and Monday as day 2 (I was doing Monday as day 1).
Here is the updated dataset, please add the indicator to your chart and give it a try yourself just in case Im wrong again

Just came across this on tradingview, use the Gann box intead of the rectangle box tool. Works exactly the same way but you can add time and price levels to it (ie. 50%)

You'll have to manually alter the pivot strength (PS) to fit the market conditions (I'd recommend btwn 3-6)
You can add the indicator twice, one with a lower PS and one higher to find every bos/choch
Dont enable every setting or else it will be noisy, pick what you like best

Ask him to add fees/commission to this and the graph will flip. Always ask for a trial too.

I ran a simple backtest to show if the candle close favors the direction of the fractal high/low and the results were VERY RANDOM.
For all pairs and timeframe, there is about a 50% chance of the candle after the fractal closing bullish/bearish.

I dont get why everyones ignoring the fact that the data shows ALL possible outcomes. If you add ICT context to the data, it will narrow the results - which means the numbers will decrease.
My entire point is, the H/L of the week on Tues/Wed is very rare compared to other days.

10 years of data without any context of using the information I teach for when Buy or Sell programs are underway... is not ideal for "data".
Number crunching can make any data submit to any outcome.
When you study the data in proper context, it will leap off the output.
