I’m always taken aback when ppl learn I’m a therapist & then say, “Wow, you work with crazy people, I could never do that.” Its like, no… People who’ve been through the worst circumstances (trauma, poverty etc) & who navigate our broken MH system aren’t crazy—they’re resilient
