#facts. @YaserKhalidDO published *manuscripts* to get into fellowship and *everything* (abstracts) after that has been to help residents get into fellowship. He spends 99% of his time learning to be a good cardiologist.
During fellowship, one of our faculty, and former society president, said in a lecture that fellowship is for publishing. I thought fellowship was to learn how to be a cardiologist and take care of patients? He was saying the quiet part out loud that it’s not about the patients.
