Can you double your efforts to end loadshedding?.

Apparently, being without electricity for 14 hours out of 24 is okay according the @Eskom_SA, @PresidencyZA and @MYANC. If there’s a State of Emergency, there’s nowhere near the same energy and urgency we saw with their Covid-19 response. #Loadshedding

With Stage 8 looming, the biggest driver of return to the office for everyone will be @Eskom_SA. Standalone UPS and inverters will tank trying to handle 12-14 hours of #loadshedding, forcing everyone who isn't completely off-grid to head back to the office.

You knew as far back as 1997 that we were going to have trouble in the future. Don’t try to spin this as if you’re doing something amazing and we should be thankful for it.
Loadshedding is done to protect the national electricity network by balancing supply and demand. If this is not done, the national grid will shut down entirely and the entire country will be blacked out for days to weeks.

The @MYANC knows we had #loadshedding since 2007 - 16 years ago. Why was nothing done since then? It’s only become a “crisis” now because it will affect them at the polls. I’ll hold my breath.
