it's still not OK that we have a president who throws shit like this out into the world 🤷♀️ https://t.co/JDBPFhAkF5

Somalis reacted with outrage to Donald Trump's derogatory remarks about them and their country, although a few also said the U.S. president had spoken unpalatable truths.

Jennifer Welch didn’t hold back: “The Republican Party has done such a good job propagandizing that if you need anything from the government, you’re a lazy piece of shit and a moocher, when really the parasites in this country are the billionaires.” Annihilating the talking

not perfect but lots of good stuff in here particularly geothermal and transmission
Ruben Gallego has an energy plan, some highlights -- bring back IRA tax credits -- invest in advanced nuclear/SMRs + geothermal -- permitting reform for everything -- transmission https://t.co/AJNhKLf1dm

I was really willing to give Curtis the benefit of the doubt, particularly after talking to him about a year ago before he waffled on the Gaetz nomination. He could have been Romney and taken an occasional stand. "Concern" is not enough. https://t.co/S01xfuXgPG

Utah Sen. John Curtis’s vote confirmed Pete Hegseth. After reporting on a “kill everybody” order and a second strike, war crimes questions mount.

And Utah still refuses to go beyond the $7.25 minimum wage despite spiraling costs of living. It's unacceptable, and any increase from here on out must be tied to inflation.
People talk a lot about affordability these days — and they should. Every time we buy groceries, pay rent, fill the tank, or try to cover basic bills, we feel the pressure. But the other half of that conversation rarely gets talked about: wages. The federal minimum wage has

This high level of turnout is simultaneously what doomed Behn but also what should be setting off GOP alarm bells. In a district this red, higher turnout meant Behn would have a much harder time winning. But at the same time, if she was able to generate a 14-15 point
TN-07 turnout tonight will be close to 180,000. Turnout in 2022 in the district was 183,912. We essentially saw midterm-level turnout in a special election the Tuesday after Thanksgiving 🤯

geothermal is the way
the most commonly cited total resource estimates of conventional geothermal are ~30-40 GWe in the contiguous USA (eg USGS, 2008), which is an order of magnitude+ too low for two simple reasons, (1) there's multiples more undiscovered sites out there, and (2) each site can

Very excited for @NateForUtah. One reason I decided to run for Congress is this will be a change cycle. There's going to be a team of us going to Congress who will work together to get real, structural changes done. Will be great to have @NateForUtah on that team.

Need a guy with an actual plan? @NateForUtah’s the one.
14 hour delays are just shockingly unacceptable. We've got to fix our rail infrastructure in a way that bridges the divide between the east and west of Salt Lake County, and that starts by taking the Rio Grande Plan seriously. https://t.co/sT0IGz3Pha

Thank you, @NateForUtah ! Whatever solution is best for Salt Lake City and transit throughout Utah, that is what I support. The reason I work so hard to promote the Rio Grande Plan is because I can not see another solution as practical or as complete. Let's Bury the Rails!
