This winter has been the absolute worst.
We have sad news to report: this morning the nest on the DNR's Nongame Wildlife EagleCam fell out of the tree. Our staff are onsite and confirm that the chick did not survive the fall. If you know where the nest is, please don't visit the site. More info will be shared later.

Just in: The Minnesota House passed the trans refuge act. It creates legal protections for those who travel to Minnesota for gender-affirming care. The bill now goes to Senate committees, then to Gov. Walz if it passes, who says he supports it. MN would be the 4th refuge state.

We are absolutely devastated to announce legendary Minnesota Vikings head coach and Hall of Famer Bud Grant has passed away this morning at age 95. We, like all Vikings and NFL fans, are shocked and saddened by this terrible news.
