Finally online!! The first big chunk of my PhD work with M. Mycoides and JCVI-Syn3B shows how these Minimal Cells remodel their lipids in response to temperature perturbation. These tiny organisms with minimal genomes offer us a glimpse into cell membrane adaptation principles.
Adapting to cold🥶☃️: Lipidomics of Minimal Cells! Our new study explores how simple organisms like Mycoplasma mycoides & JCVI-Syn3B alter their membrane lipids with temperature change @NataliyaSafric @James_Saenz @BCUBE_TUDresden @JCVenterInst #lipidtime.
