Western Hudson Bay polar bears are doing what is expected: they're racing out across the Bay as the ice forms. Naive seals have likely forgotten about polar bears having lazed about offshore with nothing trying to eat them for months. [onland = radios that have stopped working]

Only need to look at the population forecast to see the explosion in seniors numbers. For example, those over 90 years old will rise 5 fold in the next 20 years in Kamloops. But as usual the government will turn its attention to the grey wave in just over 25 years from now.

Agree, with the rapid increase in the Citiy's median age, we need a new approach to seniors living, ensuring residents can age in place within the community.

Last week was @fcm_online Advocacy Days in Ottawa. Local government electeds go to Ottawa to meet with their federal MPs and Senators. Politics can sometimes seem contentious, but this work was very affirming. different orders of government came together to discuss & listen.
