Still not sure how I ended up in publishing but what a journey it’s been! Delighted to be launching @OtherStoriesHQ and I’m grateful to all the beautiful souls who have supported me along the way. Looking forward to championing our stories and breaking all the rules…

We may be witnessing the total obliteration of Gaza. Political leaders refusing to speak out should feel eternal shame over the horror they are allowing to unfold. Those of us who believe in peace cannot stay silent. We must say to the Palestinian people: you are not alone.

Everyone’s giving this book five stars and I need you to believe the hype. @SafiyaSinclair left no crumbs. Powerful story, gorgeous writing, one of the best books I’ve read this year.

When Ginika said, “I think you’re depressed.” Ifemelu shook her head and turned to the window. Depression was what happened to Americans, with their self-absolving need to turn everything into an illness. “I don’t have depression,” she said. Years later... #WorldMentalHealthDay

Everyone’s talking about Fourth Wing and I really don’t want to read it (because why would I read a book about dragons?) but I think I might have to. 😭
