The problem is, the system. We gotta meet halfway. Andrew, man, just come to the Deaf event and see how BSL is not the problem. Maybe a round of pints on me?

Anyway, I’m ending my notes with that Deafness is a spectrum. Some speak, some sign, some does both. They’re all winners, we’re gonna continue to fight for more and we’re not gonna change the way we communicate. We are gonna introduce BSL as a language.

Now you say nothing had changed, have you not seen the job opportunities being more open now, more Deaf people on our screen, they even said to me that I could have an interpreter for the jury duty soon, etc etc. BSL does that all!

Now this brother state that we have been fighting for a long time and nothing have changed because of most deaf people believing that BSL does nothing for them. What? Pleaseeeeeeee…what sources do you get from that? And we have been fighting and things had changed…

The companies yet not to believe that we’re capable, because of the “differences” we bring, which is just BSL, the sign language that is ENGLISH. So we are still doing English but visually. We got BSL interpreters who know what we’re talking about. It’s just basically us talking.

And that’s a discrimination from the companies or production etc.
