Pure comedy. We can watch it with the kids without any valo. It is entertaining. No kissing, sex scenes. No vulgar or inappropriate language. Just pure entertainment.
My first ever Postgraduate Research Proposal Draft.
I still remember how I felt so stupid after receiving the proposal feedback from my then supervisor (May His soul rest in peace).
To new enrolled postgraduate students, don’t be hard on yourself. It gets better with time 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

You can mention to the students that the course you are teaching is not sooo easy but just don’t scare them off. Give them that reassurance that you will navigate through as a team. They obviously do have an equal responsibility to put in the work
Did you ever lie on bed with depression, thinking “i am full of flaws”, “i hate myself”, or even “I am worthless”? This was me in year 2019. I was suicidal.
Self-love is never an easy job. Learning to love myself and owning my story ❤.
Let us spread Love 💘 all the time.

6 years ago, I was a final year PhD Chemistry student and on this very same day I was giving a talk @ University of Valladolid in Spain 🇪🇸 disseminating research results on cellulose and ionic liquids.
It has been an exciting journey and I am grateful for all the opportunities.🙏
I’m not sure wether my excitement comes from the fact that I got two PostDocs to join my research group or because one of our projects (very dear to my heart) has been awarded the VC’s prestigious award 🥇.
What a great way to start my 2022

The discrimination in ACADEMIA is appalling.

let us try & be better supervisors to our Postgrad students. Let us not dismiss their ideas. We also need 2 be sensitive when we give feedback to avoid robbing them off their human dignity.

Good morning 🙏 Fam.
Combining parenting (three Toddlers aged between 5-10) with academic success is extremely challenging. My helper is on leave 😢. I just finished cleaning up the house and now trying to catch up with some of my academic activities 🙃. ✊✊✊

My PhD Reflection Essay:
Leading up to the research proposal presentation, I was very nervous, and I had inferior complexity, doubting my abilities, being the first black female to pursue a PhD in the Centre was also nerve wrecking.
One thing about me, I will hustle hard for my M and D students or PDF fellows. My job is to get them funding and other great opportunities bapope nabo.
