The conference brought parents with policy-makers for the first time in the region to share experiences advocating for their children. Part of the conference had a series of research workshops with parents of LGTBQI children & youth to better understand their needs.

The conference focused on discrimination of the LGBTQI community & in honor of a trans young person who committed suicide in 2022 due to bullying. The collaboration is part of a 4 year project focussing on flexible support to civil society orgs in Colombia, Libya & Moldova.
