I’m beyond grateful to be able to spend time this morning with early childhood professionals with their on-going training. The first 2 hours this morning was a recertification on CPR/First Aid and AED. The next 2 hours will be on responding to an Active Killer event.

Today was the annual Oct-Sober-Fest at @WNCC where students, staff, or visitors could experience the impairment goggles and/or the seatbelt persuader. @NSPTrooperHorak and Troopers Sporer (#NSP290) and Weber (#NSP245) were there to help out.

HUGE Thank you to @esu11 for allowing me to be a part of your day with teachers from across their area. I was blessed enough to be asked back to Holdrege & inform their teachers & staff about current drug trends in #Nebraska and a little about what to look for and the dangers.

Today was a special day in Lincoln where @MaddNebraska hosted their annual #MoveWithMADD. Honored this year was JT Jackson(#Forever18) who lost his life to a drunk driver in 2024. JT is the brother of Trp Weitzel (#NSP239) and son of Retired Gering PD Sgt James Jackson.

My first time hanging out with the #Cardinals in Alma!! I got to say that I’m impressed!! Today we talked about a tough subject but most definitely an important subject nonetheless. We spent time discussing #Bullying and the importance of treating each other with respect!!

I mean it when I say that I Love what I do!! The connections I’ve built with kids, parents, teachers, and community members has been priceless!! But getting to know Jim & JoAnn Weber has been a blessing beyond what I deserve. Teaching with them is absolutely fantastic!!

It’s amazing who you meet in the small town coffee shops/restaurants. In between presentations today we stopped into Shirley K’s Coffee Shop in Cambridge where retired Trooper Bob Robert’s (#NSP227R) introduced himself and we had an amazing conversation!! #Retirees

Today was another good day hanging out with the young students of Cambridge, Southwest (Bartley), and Arapahoe schools!! We spent some time discussing topics of Internet Safety and how they can be safer on-line. #GoTrojans #GoRoughRiders #GoWarriors
