As the #OregonTrailsDays2025 celebration draws to a close, I have to share one of my favorite moments. Every year these boys come find me for our annual car show pictures. I hadn’t seen them and just before we started packing up here they came.

Thankful for the people of #Nebraska who help us out to make our roads safer. This driver was called in for not being able to maintain their lane and once Trp Sporer got them stopped discovered why they were having that problem. Jail is not a place to spend your weekend.

#OregonTrailDays2025. Ended the day at the annual car show for OT Days and Troopers Weitzel (#NSP239), Vera-Chavez (#NSP171) Swantek (#NSP488), and Flick (#NSP382) enjoyed time with so many while conducting impaired and distracted driving education and seatbelt safety.

#OregonTrailDays2025. Started this morning out with the Kiddie Parade through downtown Gering with Troopers Bishop (#NSP148) Jones (#NSP253), Sgt Bowlin (#NSP234) and of course Trooper Buck L Up!! . Always a great way to spend a morning!!

Our young people are our future, no one can argue that. Helping them to understand more can help them to make better choices. I got the privilege of hanging out with kids from Sioux County to help them learn about drugs, alcohol, and treating people with respect.

Yesterday Trp Sporer (#NSP290) arrested this driver after they drove through a stop sign without stopping. Making it worse they had their 12 yr old daughter in the car with them. Impaired driving, especially OVER 3 TIMES the legal limit, puts everyone at risk!! . #DoBetter
