Yep. Utah, Boise, and UCF were all considered âminor leagueâ teams at one point. All have either moved on to power leagues or have had seasons with a reasonable shot to be champions. If you create a new division, youâre stopping that from ever happening again
@NMTC_Hoops CFB elitists will never get this. Also, even bad FBS programs are always one coach, one magical run, away from making history. Itâs unlikely, but weird things happen. And with all of the conference shenanigans, teams have moved up and down a fair bit

If they actually wanted that, they couldâve done it decades ago. Or moved down to FCS. Or never moved up from FCS. (60% of P4 teams are in the same boat btw.) They donât want thatâdonât tell em what they want. Maybe they wonât win it all, but just being on the big stage is huge.
