£20 billion will NEVER be enough to save the NHS. But the cumulative effect of 65 million citizens improving one small aspect of their health, just might. #myNHSgift #NHS70 https://t.co/Vj7bRuQXnj

@robstoneyuk @lowcarbGP @DiabetesUK @tom_watson @rcgp @DrAseemMalhotra @AnnChildersMD We have created our own pages based on @lowcarbGP ‘s example to promote a low carb approach in our group of surgeries. We have been having some great results and already spend a lot less on diabetes drugs than others locally.

Lumping fruit and veg together as part of the ‘5 a day’ is odd How is a raspberry like potato ? For those with #T2D I designed this so you can compare how ‘sugary’ these foods are Green veg is a winner from this point of view 👍

Making a decision to change something can be easy. Seeing it through is often hard! That’s where accountability comes in! Being responsible to someone else for an action or result. ...So tell us how you get on. ...Or tell your friends and family. #NHSgifts #NHS70

There's been a huge rise in the level of chronic disease and INFLAMMATION is the common denominator and LIFESTYLE is the driver. We each need to gift ourselves better health and wellbeing and in doing so, save the NHS. #myNHSgift
