The chaplaincy team has produced a resource for VE Day on Thursday - an opportunity to remember and pray for peace. They can be collected from our chapels and offices this week.

Yesterday Emma and Debs had the joy of visiting Free Spirits Nursery to talk to the Daffodil and Tulip classes about the Easter Story. They did a great job with our Easter egg hunt, and listed so well to the story. 🌷 🌼 what a lovely afternoon.

Thank you to the @BishopNewcastle for her Easter message, including reflecting on her recent visit to Freeman hospital and encouraging us to find the light of Jesus in all aspects of our lives. May we continue to be sharers of that light 🙏.

Our thanks to Kathy from the Bereavement team for using her skills to make this beautiful display of flowers for both of our chapels to help us mark Easter. Our Easter card reflections have been greatly appreciated by our patients - copies still available.

Today Chaplain Debs attended the Chrism Eucharist service at @nclcathedral with @NclDiocese and collected our new oils. Meanwhile at @NewcastleHosps we’ve been taking communion to patients at RVI and Freeman and delivering Easter cards ready for the weekend
