Most parts of South Mysuru got pounded 🌧️🌧️⛈️ yesterday. Manual RG reported 2.5 inches of rain ~ 63.5mm of rainfall ending 8.30AM today and that is highest 24hr RF for the month of August after 2022!.#MysuruRains

Good work by @Star_Of_Mysore 👌👌. Mysuru district has total of 280 Telemetric rain gauges in which only 122 are functioning properly while remaining 158 not working at all , it shows how our @KarnatakaSNDMC is maintaining the rain gauges not only in district but across State.
Weather monitoring network in disrepair: Most rain gauges in key districts defunct, 158 of 280 rain gauges not working in Mysuru; 56 of 104 in Kodagu; 109 of 243 in Mandya #KSNDMC.
