When Strauss' violin concerto (first theme below) was first performed in 1882, the 18 year old composer played the accompaniment on the piano. On Tuesday 30 July, join @ECOrchestra, Koen Kessels, and José Matias from @RWCMD to hear the orchestral version.

Since 24 May, we've held five concerts in five wonderful churches to either full or very nearly full audiences. It's been a privilege to help fundraise for these places and wonderful to hear a wide range of music performed by a selection of excellent musicians.

We couldn't have asked for a more fabulous East Sussex debut. @TenebraeChoir gave the most stunning performance in a packed church. The sun shone & a wonderful group of volunteers made the whole evening happen. It was a celebration of summer, country churches, & choral music.
