Postdocs in NYC are facing unprecedented financial burden because we continue to be compensated disproportionate to our education, training and skills. #EnoughIsEnough. Time for institutions to look at the hard numbers and make some changes.
1146 postdocs from 8 major NYC academic institutions answered our survey on working conditions. We present our summary report to read and share: Conclusion: NYC postdocs are dissatisfied with the combination of low salaries and high cost of living in NYC.
