While I’m always up for learning new self-care stuff, she’s got a point about the PD for PD’s sake...
Stop assigning PD for PD sake. Let teachers have a day to plan. Let teachers have a social. Let the teachers have a day to “self-care” instead of giving us a PD on self-care. I know how to take care of myself, I’m 32.

So proud of my English 10 H students, hard at work on their Social Criticism blogs! But what’s best about this picture is there are 3 separate instances of students helping one another, offering critiques and feedback. Love my students! #scnpride

Ran the @chicagomarathon today. I’m injured so I was in a lot of pain, but I was thinking about a student at our school battling through a major injury right now. Aidan, I dedicated mile 19 to you - rooting for you and your family! #AC19 @robertpomazak #SCNFootball

Teachers are SIX times more engaged & effective when they feel valued & that their strengths are utilized in their school, yet 80% don't feel they are. Imagine what dynamic school cultures and student success could be achieved if all teachers felt valued and supported!
