June was a month alright! I ran my half marathon! Baby girl started daycare, I hiked Yellowstone and Grand Teton, and spent almost everyday outside otherwise. Getting amped to start teaching again next fall, but going to make the most of my summer until then! 😄

Dreaming of going back to Mexico today. In February I visited the Cuba ruins and I HIGHLY recommend a visit if you have the opportunity. Visiting historical places always provides a spark, and I’m excited to make some lessons from what I learned!

10 mile run accomplished!! I am not fast, but so glad to keep pushing myself to the next distance. Up next: half marathon! (That was the best Powerade I have ever drank in my life!)

This week we hosted the Minnesota Council for the Social Studies annual social and conference in St. Paul! It’s an honor to serve on the board of directors and provide professional learning opportunities for teachers. Thank you to all those who could attend!

Thanksgiving and Black Friday! I’m so happy that I ran my first 10k race and hosted a successful meal. Black Friday was relaxing with niece and nephew, catching up with a former student, and sugar cookie decorating.
