Every behavior is a form of communication! It’s up to me as the adult to peel away the layers and find out what the need is.
There are no BAD kids! There are kids who: -have been traumatized -have little hope for the future -haven’t experienced success or love -haven’t learned to regulate emotions -have been repeatedly disappointed by adults It’s NEVER too late to help a kid who is struggling!

Today I submitted my resignation to take a one year break from teaching. I will be a full time masters student and stay-at-home mom with two 7th graders remote learning. I'm looking forward to the opportunities but will miss the classroom greatly.
