Today I took a train that normally costs €49, plus a tram and a bus that cost €3 each, so by August 6th I’ve already made back the cost of my monthly transit pass!.
It’s August 2nd and today I’m taking a train that would normally cost €21 with my pass. Yesterday I used €9 worth of tram tickets. So in two days I’ve already got back more than half the value of the pass. ✅.

I always thought I would retire by the sea in France or Spain but my current trip to rural Germany where I eat a different custard -filled cake for breakfast every day (for a third of the price of a French pastry!) has me rethinking things. #Deutschland

I used Google Translate to say I would like real medication not herbs and she rolled her eyes, sighed and said, “Ohhhhhhh… CHEMICALS.” . I think the people in the hotel room next to me will be very grateful for the chemicals, ma’am.

I’m in a village in Germany and I have a terrible cough that needs medication, but it’s Sunday so I had to go to the emergency pharmacy and the pharmacist didn’t speak English. I used Google Translate to ask for a cough suppressant and she offered me a packet of herbs. (1/2).

In Germany, a monthly pass for ALL of the public transit systems in the country AND all of the regional intercity trains in the country costs less than a monthly Calgary Transit pass. You can use the same ticket in Berlin or Frankfurt or Munich and everywhere in between for €58.

When you can’t get in to see a doctor in Alberta remember it’s because they are spending their working days filling out the forms that @ABDanielleSmith is forcing people with disabilities to submit so that she can steal $200 a month from them. #abhealth #cdnpoli #yyc #yeg.
@MarieFrRenaud It’s infuriating!! I did 3 forms this weekend and have 5 more to go - such a waste of resources- - that’s at least 8 patient appointments I didn’t have for actual concerns - why did - @ABDanielleSmith not negotiate with the federal government just to reimburse for all aish pts ?.
