The Māori parliament protest video has had me sobbing all day. I am so incredibly moved by the act of community calling in the ancestors to condemn injustice

The amount of horrible takes and finger pointing is exhausting Rest so that you can organize and fight. Be honest about what barriers exist within your community to progress and equity. Then gather your folks by educating them Hold your communities and hold them accountable

It’s not just rural white women. We need to be very clear that it is white women. This crosses class lines. It did in 2016 as well. It’s only increased
It coming down to whether rural white women will side with an aggressive and abusive white man or an accomplished and pretty black woman is such a layered conclusion to America that feels like yes of course it had to come down to this.

If you consider yourself to be progressive and Latinx, you should be talking about anti-Blackness in the Latinx community and centering Black and indigenous Latinx folks in these discussions
