So that’s it. As of this week I’m no longer a neurosurgery trainee. I’ve given up my NTN after 6 years in neurosurgery. My stomach still flips when I think about what I’ve done. I still can’t quite believe I’ve done it. I’m not sure if it’s brave or stupid? 1/n

While the complexity of patients in primary care has increased, the average length of GP appointments have not increased in parallel with 10-15 minute appointments currently the norm. Funding models that support longer appointment lengths are essential. My comment for @bmj_latest

First we were ‘laggards’ according to @wesstreeting and now we are ‘refuseniks’ according to @SKinnock - it feels like this *Labour* govt has launched a vendetta against NHS GPs who are just trying to do their best for our patients. I’m livid and I know @BMA_GP is too
