Year round single sport specialization benefits the adults who can make money off of it at the expense of the child’s development.
@JJWatt But all of these "high level" teams are now requiring year round participation, or the cost of playing the sport is too high to do anything else. At the same time, rec leagues are dying I do completely agree with you tho, I see it daily. Those generalist are healthier and better

Texas not letting a 50 lb dog that requires one handler & a pillow come to the game because we didn’t make special accommodations for a 1-ton bull that requires multiple handlers & a 30ft cage last year is the exact kind of petty this rivalry has been missing the past 15 years 🤍
