Stop needing the last word. 2nd to last word is best for hard to reach kids. #thatonekid

7th graders tested their ability to keep Homer alive by maintaining “homer-ostasis”. Students had to keep Homer’s temperature, fluid level, and fluid color constant…just like the human body systems have to do to keep our body “happy”! @FSD79

Successful Science Olympiad kickoff!Today’s mini engineering challenge had students building the tallest notecard tower — the challenge about it was they could only get notecards after they found out things they had in common with their group. Great first day! @FSD79

New favorite tool! Such a quick and easy way to see that students are understanding the demos we do in class! https://t.co/WQVGJcDZ1s will be a huge help as we discover more about space! @FSD79

“Awesome experience” does not even begin to describe the impact Kendra made on these 6th graders today! We had a volcanologist come and visit our classes today as we are learning about why volcanoes form, what causes them to erupt, and what can we do to prevent damage! @FSD79

Thanks so much for joining our Flex Trey @tmbcrossover7! Your message resonated with the kids and myself. We must regularly think about our why in order to be driven towards our goals. We can’t wait till you come back and leave another lasting impression! @FSD79
